In this hands-on class, you'll learn the foundational techniques of tubelining and floating wash with cobalt oxide underglaze to achieve a embossed effect, where design elements are separated by clay slip.

This technique, known as Fa Hua Cai (法華彩), was once lost to history but has since been revived.
